| SGS run many events throughout the year which we would warmly welcome anyone who wanted to come along or help out. Our events are a good opportunity to meet greyhound owners, volunteers and of course our homeless hounds.
Our events range from walks and dog shows to can collections and car boot sales. Anything to raise funds and awareness of greyhounds in need. Please take a look at our events calendar for more information on upcoming events. If you have any event ideas, or have seen any events that SGS could attend please contact the Events Co-ordinator. Official SGS Walks On the last Sunday of every month SGS runs walks in the west coast of Scotland. We alternate between Strathclyde Park, Thornliebank Park & Bellahouston Park.
As these are official SGS events we ask that all dogs are kept on lead and muzzled where appropriate. These are fun days out and great for socialising your greyhound or lurcher.
